Hi.
I have loved X-Com since the days of DOS and would love X-Com 2 as well - if it didn't crash all the time.
I have tried the game on 3 completely different computers over the span of 7 years. All of them crash randomly in the middle of a mission (no mods or DLC). I play a LOT of games, and I hardly ever have issues like that, so I strongly doubt it has to do with me.
There are many threads on the Steam forums about this, and the developers do not seem to be interested and/or able to do anything about this.
GOG is known for making games more compatible.
So my question is:
Is the GOG version more stable? Did GOG manage to do something to make it work better?
Thanks!
