Why is it still being sold and not working properly with windows 11?
It starts then crashes right after title screen.

Still runs fine for me on Windows 10.

Did you try running xanadu_cfg.exe from its install directory and playing with any of the settings there?

I've also read that some people have issues when running the game through GOG galaxy instead of using the XANADU.exe file. (Overlay may cause problems)

Could also try using dgVoodoo2 if nothing else works,
