Vanster-X: Tried playing again and still getting the same issue's and now the mouse won't even move, also when I go to the config menu it has some cut off so I can't see all the options. Is there nobody with any idea what to do to fix this, was really looking forward to playing this game.

Don't know if you already know it but there is a config tool which enables to select the resolution of the game (and other graphical options). Maybe you simply have a resolution problem or something misconfigured and so this could help ?
You can launch it through the windows start menu->GOG.com->Xanadu Next->Tools->Config. Or going directly into the game's installation folder "C:\GOG Games\Xanadu Next" and launch the file "xanadu_cfg.exe".
