I have 3 separate Packages in my downloads
These Patches
X³ - Terran War Pack - Mod Support Patch v3.2c = patch_x3_terran_war_pack_2.0.1.4.exe
X³ - Terran War Pack - Patch v3.2d = patch_x3_terran_war_pack_2.2.0.5.exe

Plus the game (exe and 2 bin files)
X³ - Terran War Pack - Terran Conflict and Albion Prelude v3.3 = setup_x3_terran_war_pack_2.3.0.6.exe

Logic would suggest the patches, are included with the game, but I've never seen GOG have patches that don't at least match the latest game version.
In this case, I would expect a Patch v3·3 as well as the ones provided.
So are these patches included with v3.3, or not?
If they are, why no Patch v3.3 as well? It makes no sense to have incomplete patches like this.
Ah, not clear to me either. Some cleanup or explanation would be lovely.
Further research (Checking installed File Versions), sheds some light on this.

X³ - Terran War Pack - Terran Conflict and Albion Prelude (GOG) v3.3
X³ - Terran Conflict (GOG) v3.3
X³ - Albion Prelude (GOG) v3.2

That suggests, it's a bundkeing issue, further exacerbated by both "releases", using the same folder, though originally separate releases.
This isn't due to the Bundling as far as I understand, and I suspect even Reunion could be in same base folder.

I now suspect
X³ - Terran War Pack - Mod Support Patch v3.2c = patch_x3_terran_war_pack_2.0.1.4.exe
X³ - Terran War Pack - Patch v3.2d = patch_x3_terran_war_pack_2.2.0.5.exe
Get applied for Albion Prelude, and are indeed intended to be installed after the main package.
Extracting the installers shows files that are not installed by the game installer.
GOG's installer version control stops this though, as they are less than v3.3, they can't be installed.

So though I think they are meant to be still installed, the recent Terran Conflict update prevents it.

X3:Reunion has nothing (except sharing the same game engine) to do with The Terran War Pack.

So, the patches must be for those who, like me, have installed older versions of the war pack I guess.

In short, if you get the V3.3 (2.3.0.6) installers you don't need any additional patches.

Egosoft has released patches both for X3: Terran Conflict (patch version 3.2) and for X3: Albion Prelude (patch version 3.3) about two weeks ago, both of which are now included in the main installer.

The other two patches you see listed by GOG are there only for backward compatibility reasons I guess (as Themken said, for people that still have the older versions of the installers), or even more likely, they forgot to remove them when they last updated the installer with the latest patches I've mentioned above.

In any case, ignore the patches if you're using the latest version of the installer - you don't need them any longer.

Really? :) While I can't say it's a frequent occurrence, it's not that uncommon either. Keeping things neat and orderly are not things GOG is particularly good at I'm afraid.
