The Home of light extension is acting a bit... illusive.
First of all, when you're urged to buy the whole series on any the X games' pages, this pack is just not there.
Then, when I checked my account to see if I have this extension or not, I didn't see it in my library as a separate title.
When I tried to buy it from the promo page though, it told me that I actually OWN the "Home of Light Complete Edition", also the normal "X rebirth", but it still offers me "Home of Light Complete Edition Upgrade" for some reason.
So, I booted up my X rebirth game, but there was still nothing in the extensions panel.
It was up to date though.
Finally, I checked my galaxy library and see if there's anything about this in the Backups&Goodies section, and lo and behold, both extensions are there. As separate, downloadable install files.
Is there any reason for this?
I mean can't the upgraded version simply called "Home of Light Complete Edition"?
Can't the installer automatically put the extensions on my computer as well?
I mean why wouldn't I want them after I purchased them?
I don't recall issues like this with Pillars of Eternity and White March for example.

ok now a wee bit longer answer ;)

For some games those expansions are kind of hidden as you do not need them to really play them. Out of this reason they are not automatically downloaded and installed. Some people do prefer to play the untouched (lets call it? ) and replay with the add-ons. With automatic install a bit harder.

For the naming convention......(out of own experience with another game :D ) it is not up to them to name the games.....they are bound by the dev/publisher.

And yes I agree that the more options is rather hidden, but till now (even after some discussion with them) no better way to implement it. And yes there are quite some games with those hidden features (it's not a bug, it's a feature :D )

EDIT: Further info, also the bundles are not up to them, the devs/pubs are giving the naming templates.
