Egosoft, (who probably never reads this and I should post it where it's conveinent for them... but)

During X4 I had to exit the game while I was outside my ship in space. When I reloaded the game, my position changed from being at Space Relic to the starter station area. My ships remained at space relic, but some nearby hostiles were also moved to an area near the starter station.

Hmmm. Never had that issue, but then again, never saved, quit and reloaded while in the suit.

I was in my ship when the first Teleporter research completed and CTD. As soon as the Boron said something like "Let's try this out" and died. I tried talking with a faction rep, it died again. I'll wait till the next build. argh, my pirate fleets will have to wait.

haha that is shit yeah... i was in the prime system of the humans then i was flying to a point then poof i was in another system of the humans.. dont know the name of it anymore since it was a while ago... But damn that was weird i dindt cross anything just teleported with my ship from 1 system to another without me doing something to fly trough or activate or whatever just flying in to a direction into space :)

The OP sounds like a bug. As far as flying around and ending up in another system suddenly, remember that there are other anomalies out there like the one from the starter mission. You can try long range scan mode, and they'll ping purple, allowing you to go back to where you were.

What's really annoying is that, while you can drop a nav beacon at both ends, you cannot name the nav beacon to indicate where it leads. Consequently, it's really just a hassle, and something Egosoft wasted time implementing rather than getting a useful feature right. >.<
