I install the game on linux, no desktop icons are made, and the start.sh file just gives me X3TC, not the albion prelude ... How do i run the albion prelude???
You should get all three, TC; AP and FL. Of course my Linux pc is totally borked right now so cannot check but I do remember there were no problems accessing the other games.

Which desktop environment do you have?

I was having this issue also. start.sh only starts TC. If you go into the game folders there are 3 files to start each of the games
- X3TC_main
- X3AP_main
- X3FL_main

Start the game from one of those files, and not the start.sh

Happy to hear if there is a better way, but this worked for me.

Sigh, our dream of having a completely working offline Linux installer still not accomplished :-/

-------
Can you confirm that the installer at least makes a menu entry for each of the three games, please.

Well it's 99% working, with some minor annoyances. Still better than it was a few years ago.

I remember it doing that on Windows, but on Linux you only get one to the base game (TC), but you can easily change it to point to whatever you want.

I currently point it to AP.

Or change start.sh to point to the executable you want :P.
