Even though it's a public beta, you need to register on the Egosoft forums for the password to the beta channel.

Highlights:

* Sector Blacklists.

* Carriers now resupply docked ships.

* New Resupply ships can supply an entire fleet.

* Invetory management overhaul.

I have a problem with the turrets on all my ships, they won't deploy to shoot any enemy. Now i'm back on v2.21 and here works all fine. Does anyone else have this problem?

Hm, no. My turrets weren't affected by upgrading to the beta.

Which version of the beta 2.50 is the latest? The 6th? 7th? 23rd? I mainly wonder if it is starting to be in shape for release.

Beta 5 introduced some bugs. Beta 6 was essentially a hotfix to address save game breaking issues. There are still some bugs to be ironed out, but all of the features appear to be in place.
