The new v 7.00 beta for X4F is now online according to Egosoft. As I do not have the compulsory Galaxy client I cannot test it before it leaves the beta phase. Long list of fixes, changes and improvements and a request from Egosoft to especially evaluate a bunch of new things.

I have the client and cannot use it to get the beta. The wiki shows a different client than mine or the browser version. The browser version shows that I have not installed the game, therefore no settings. I should have stayed with Steam.

You need the GOG client for the beta. But, after that I can start it without the GOG client and it'll run without it and beta patched.
