Has anyone been able to get this game to recognize the hat switches, throttle and yaw axis in X4? I've tried manually changing the joystick modes in the config file from 0, 1, 2, etc. but no matter what I do, I cannot get this game to recognize the above.

Did not even try, yet, but guess I can do it later. Managerial/RTS games are usually better played with a mouse in my opinion.

There are several threads discussing problems with joysticks in the Egosoft forum. Are you playing v3.3.02 or beta 4.0?
