Just wondering if anyone has successfully gotten Litcube's Universe to work with X3: Terran War? It doesn't seem to want to install.

Had this same problem. For reference to anybody that hasn't tried to install Litecubes Universe, the problem comes about when the installer checks for the no steam executable file that the installation instructions tell you to download.

Easy solution. Make a new file (in whatever folder you installed to, where you find the X3AP.exe) and name it "'x3ap_n.exe".

Now, as to if the mod works fine with the GOG version, who knows, I was too tired to slog through another 50 pages of forum postings to find out, but the starting premise of the one person on Egosofts forums that actually cares was 'Don't see why it wouldn't work'.

Yes, I had to swim in those dense waters myself. Fortunately, it seems like someone proactive actually had a GOG installation and confirmed it worked.
