I tried to install X4 Foundation. I always get the error message "source files damaged". This I get when I wish to install with gog galaxy and also when I tried the offline installer. What can I do now?

What file system on disks (where files downloaded and where try install)?
What browser used when download offline installers?

Lenovo Legion 5 with Windows 11 pro, file system is ntfs on local SSD, Browser Google Chrome when I tried the offline installation. I also tried extern SSD with extFAT. Same result.
X4 foundation with all DLCs was installed on the local SSD and I made a mistake and deinstalled X4 and wished to install it again.

And OS is 64-bit?

Thanks a lot for the help and the link. I erased the GoG Database and after this the installation was succesfull.
