I've purchased the vanilla game, but I'm unable to join any server because I receive a version mismatch error. Which is the problem?

The latest version is 1.0j, which was posted to the GOG download servers literally a day or so ago. If you downloaded your game before then, you might have v1.0i. There's a patch to 1.0J on the download page.

That's all I can suggest, sorry... I am having a different network game issue of my own :)

Use the Galaxy rollback feature to revert to version 1.0i.

This version should probably be on par with the current Steam version. The latest GOG update is newer and the Steam version got its latest update on 20th January 2023. That should cause the problem serverwise. With 1.0i you can play online with Steam users now and there are a lot of servers in the server browser, with 1.0j I wasn't able to find any servers in the server browser.

That was exactly the reason. Thanks, I've fixed it and it works now.
