Hey all.
So I just bought the game. Was having a blast. Anyway, after an hour of gameplay, I made a dumb move, and so I felt the need to load from my latest Soul Tether. After clicking to load from the Soul Tether, my entire screen went black. So, I closed the game, but now when I reopen the game I can't do anything. Neither the mouse or the keyboard does anything, aside from pressing Esc, which just makes a noise. Nothing else happens with any key. I'm just stuck on the main menu unable to do anything. I tried running the game as administrator, as well as reinstalling the game. I also tried unchecking "Display notifications and access GOG Galaxy when in-game", as well as "Sync local saves with GOG Galaxy Cloud".
Nothing I've tried works, and now I can't play the game at all, which is a shame because I was absolutely loving it. I want to support to devs while they're developing the game, but, if I can't play the game at all, then I'm inclined to get a refund for now until full release. Unless, of course, someone has a fix for me.
I'm running on Windows 7 Profession, 64 bit, service pack 1.
Thanks!
**UPDATE: ISSUE HAS BEEN FIXED**
I fixed the issue be uninstalling the game AND removing the local save game files, then reinstalling and unchecking "Display notifications and access GOG Galaxy when in-game" as well as "Sync local saves with GOG Galaxy Cloud". The issue now appears to be gone.
