I am experiencing a weird problem with the mouse in this game, which is making it almost unplayable. That's a pity, because I like what the devs are doing with the Quake engine.

Every couple of seconds or so, there are sudden bursts of mouse acceleration which throw off my aim quite a lot. I am experiencing these "spikes" on the menu, too. This happens no matter which mouse sensitivity and acceleration settings I select.
I can confirm this only happens in Wrath, any other game or application does not present this weird mouse behavior.

FYI, the mouse is a Logitech G502 Hero, with drivers and software suite from Logitech installed. OS is Win8.1.
I will provide other hardware info or in-game settings if needed.

Any help or advice?

Thanks.

This is happening to me too - I looked on the steam forum and the developer seems to think it’s because we’re using an old build of the game, so hopefully it’ll be fixed via a patch soon.
Well then, I'll wait until the next update to mark this as solved.

Thanks for the info!
After digging into the Steam forums myself, I found a working fix! I only had to change this line in "default.cfg":

cl_maxfps 500

to:

cl_maxfps 0

Another suggestion I found there is lowering the mouse polling rate to 125 Hz, but I never tried this as editing the config file worked fine.

No need to wait for updates, then - problem solved!
