I know Windows 8+ is not officially supported, but did anyone figure out why the Worms 2 frontend basically freezes up Explorer?
When I use the GOG Launcher, I get the intro video, but every time it gets to the frontend executable, things freeze. Worms2.exe itself seems to work fine however, haven't guessed the right command-line yet but I can see the trusty spinning disc icon.
Tried all kinds of patches from other forum users here, as well as comparability, but nothing seems to work.
