I tried to play the game in two systems (one is Vista and the other is Windows 7) and at both times the game freezed and so my whole system. At Vista I could not even play the game, the game (and my whole system) freezes after I started the main menu. At Windows 7 you could play the game but when you quit, the system freezes. Any idea why this is happening? Very frustrated...

Well, I tried the XP compatibility mode and the game worked without a problem! I didn't try it on Windows 7 yet, but it works in Vista. I'm very happy!

I encountered just this problem - it wasn't until I killed Explorer.exe that I discovered my Internet Security was asking for permission to run external applications and access the local network (127.0.0.1).

I turned the permissions off for the Worms applications by enabling 'Game Mode' and it all worked first time.
