WMD seems to default to storing all user information (custom worms teams, campaign progress, settings, the lot) on Team17's servers. When I started the game for a second time, all my progress was lost because I wasn't connected to the internet.

The game does seem to be capable of storing user information locally. When I made some progress/ saved stuff with no internet connection, this was saved the following time I started the game. However, I don't know what will happen if I try to start the game with an internet connection running again; which profile will it use?

Is there any way to force the game never to connect to the servers, or at least to store settings locally only?

over 7 years, yeah i was wondering the same because the game doesnt load progress.when im offline playing. best suggestion is use online connection only for online stuff like multiplayer, for campaing or versus just launch the game offline. for what i see the game cycles between game savefiles wheter you are online or offline, it does not erase your progress, it only changes "profiles" in the most painful way possible.
