There is also no Kamikaze voice bank... sadly. :(
Remastered to take out the good voices.

JamesBond007, a GOG user, detailed in another thread the soundbanks they found to be missing. Though none of those are ones I miss all that much (maybe Kamikaze, but I'm happy just as long as they give me Angry Scotts and Thespian), it is, indeed, a shame that a Remastered version of a game actually manages to take something out of the original, instead of adding... hopefully they'll find a solution for this, although the problems leading to it may have something to do with the original files having been lost, or some sort of obscure copyright issue; anything's possible.

There are also noticeably some flags missing, other than the soundbanks, which is also sad, because they took out most of the non-national flags and some of us don't particularly enjoy turning Worms games into actual international squirmishes amongst teams representing countries.

I wonder whether some of the soundbanks were actually removed because of the whole politically-correct "our edgy ethics above everything else" society we live in, and that left Team 17 afraid of hurting the feelings of some annoying vocal minorities...

So they “remastered” the game, charging us much more than would have been possible if they hadn't claimed to do this extra work, but instead launch is delayed due to some unmentioned game-breaking bug, is later released with other game-breaking bugs anyway — and has other classic components removed?

I was on board with Team 17 when they said they'd rather release a good game late than a bad game on time. I'm supporting them in the hope that they'll fix the bugs that slipped through the cracks. But if they had just said beforehand that they weren't really remastering, I could continue to support them in good conscience.

I feel let down.

Not sure - the ones that are present could be considered offensive for majorities. :P

Agree... well, I'm not going for Money Back Guarantee because I belive they will get it working properly... I'm just sad we have almost the same thing with Revolution now - they gave out version that's not playing smoothly... Well, we shall see.
