The manual mentions something about the difficulty setting for the SP game but I don't see anything, When I click on it, it just immediately takes me to the battle.

It also mentions being able to alter the time limits. I see that option on the "team" screen for a regular game but not for the SP.

I love the game so these are minor queries at best but I'd still like to know. Any way to change settings in the SP would be nice but not live or die, pardon the expression. :D

After clicking SP game you have an option "Create new team" click it, choose computer controlled team and then a slider below set the computer skill level (see attachment 1.png)

Change the tab from "Game controls" to "Option editor" and scroll down a bit you'll see time settings (see attachment 2.png)

You probably started a "quick single player game". Only when you click on the icon with the worm next to a computer on the lower right side of the flag. It says "play a single or multiplayer game on your computer". There you can configure everything.

I have Acer V5-573G notebook, Windows 8.1.
Game was running very slow, compatibility settings don't help.
How to resolve problem?
