Hello,

Having issues with lag here. About 30 to 40 FPS.

Some rig notes:

Intel i7-3820 3.6 Ghz
NVIDIA GTX 980

I secretly hoped they unlocked FPS above 60 FPS and they did atleast for the menu's. However in the game it seems it really is noticeable laggy. Playable but it shouldn't be so low i guess. Anyone else got this issue? I can't really determine if the game runs above 60 at this point.

Hope I'm not alone. I try to experiment with some things. Maybe dxtory is the cause. I also don't remember if I tried to run the game without vsync already.

Thanks for reading.

Sincerely,

Lifell
You're not alone. The game is unplayable choppy. On a AMD FX-8350 with 16 Gigs of RAM and a GeForce GTX 660 under Windows 7. Dis- or enabling vertical sync doesn't make a difference for me.

The menus render fine, while ingame it's so choppy it's almost unplayable. Especially when dealing with the rops this is a pain...

DIscovered fraps or dxtory doesn't make a difference. Adding the game to NVIDIA control panel has no influence. Running GOG Galaxy and the game as administrator doesn't have any efffect =/...

i have 1 more idea though :P. Also thanks for replying. On first sight this just seems as a bad release. Also when I quit a game and it goes back to the menu I simple get a black square on the upper left corner of the screen. I need to task end the game in order to, well.... do anything different than trying to get it to work again after that...
After a bit of investigation this seems to affect the menu as well. They don't feel so choppy as the game does, but when looking at the clouds you can see the framerate probably doubles or splits half regularly. Also all resolutions - even the original ones - seem to be affected by this.
I've got lot of lags too. I know my laptop isn't the best but I wasn't expecting this kind of lags for a release of these kind :/
My specs :
Windows 7 64bits, ATI Mobility Radeon HD5470, 4Go RAM DDR3, Intel Core i3 350M

Have you checked the "Support" section of GOG? If you search for Worms World Party, there's a link there to an issue specific to high-end Nvidia GPUs. I can't post the link here but have a look for yourself, it's called:

Potential issues with Supersampling (DSR - Factors) feature on high-end GeForce cards

Good luck,

Hey, thanks for the suggestion. I checked however and everything regarding Dynamic Super Resolution was turned off. So it seems that wasn't the issue =[...

I guess I will not be playing Worms World Party Remastered I suppose....
This is really annoying. Two weeks have passed since the release and Team17 did not manage to get a 14 year old game that ran perfectly fine on the hardware available then to run on modern computers. There is neither feedback from the developers here, nor in the steam forums.
