To me, this game seems like a clear and direct rip off of "Uzumaki" a manga by Junji Ito.

Anyone else feel like this may be the case?

I believe that the game describes itself as being inspired by the works of Junji Ito and H.P. Lovecraft, so I believe that the similarities are intentional.
