I want to buy this game but i'm not sure which version i should take Steam or GOG. I like GOG more because i don't like DRMs, but GOG is very vague about updates. Latest Steam version is 0.9.16 AUTUMN MODDING UPDATE, but what about GOG? Did GOG version that is aviable for downloading (without Galaxy) updates at same time as Steam or it outdated?

Sorry for the delay there, but checking the version number on the GOG release of WoH vs what the current version number is, it looks like the GOG release is one version behind the other releases in terms of revisions. The GOG release is v0.9.15 as opposed to 0.9.16 (soon to be 0.9.17 with the Halloween update) for the other versions, even with GOG Galaxy installed.

GoG seems to update anywhere from a couple hours, to a day behind Steam.

Presumably it's the developer doing the updating and they're the one choosing the time and date to do so, not gog.
