Yea its been abandoned, the dev got into legal trouble with the publishers of Ito Junji's works that are being released 3x a year now by VIZ I think. They got a cease and desist letter and panicked, took the Uzumaki and Lovecraft stuff out and ran.

It certainly feels that way.

There's a ton of rumors going around about a lawsuit or the author being straight up dead from COVID, but apparently it's common for the guy to drop the face of the earth for more than a year at a time.

Obviously it's still frustrating, so either hold off on purchasing or treat it as a final version for now.
