I love the World of Good and decided to buy the GOG version as well as having it on disk. Having a new PC, Goo was not already installed. I tried both installing the GOG version and the CD version and both showed the same problem. My left hand monitor would flash like crazy and the right hand one would go black. After Alt-Tabbing, to minimise the the program the music would start. I tried various options using compatibility extra but none worked.

After a bit of search I discovered the GooTool (http://goofans.com/gootool) which allowed me to change the resolution. After that everything worked fine.

The problems I found were on a Windows 7 64bit machine, running 2 nvidia graphic cards in SLI, powering two widescreen monitors.

Just wondering if anyone else had encountered this problem and if so what your solution was?

Same issue, but I found that included with the install is a Language and Resolution Selector. Run that, choose a resolution. Problem solved.
