I was wondering if I could play this game with the mouse only? Because of a disability I cannot play games that require using the keyboard. I have played other RTS's such as StarCraft and Company of Heroes with the mouse entirely and I wanted to know if I can do the same with this game?
Asidhu, hello to you. (^_^)

With the minor exceptions of accessing the pause/in-game menu, along with bypassing/skipping certain (not all) cut-scenes/forced mission briefings (all of which seem to require the usage of the [Esc] key), 'World in Conflict' *is* playable while using the mouse, exclusively.

Camera North, Northeast, East, Southest, South, Southwest, West, Northwest (Replicates [W] [A] [S] [D]) = Hold [Middle Mouse Button]+[Right Mouse Button], followed by mouse movement in the desired direction.

Camera Zoom In/Out = [Middle Click/Scroll Wheel] Up/Down.

Mouse Look = Hold [Middle Mouse Button], followed by mouse movement in the desired direction/axis.

Current camera location can also be instantly teleported across the map with the usage of the mini-map, located on the lower-left side of the screen.

After selecting a unit, or a group of units, special abilities, as well as other options (such as dismounting soldiers from vehicles), can all be activated within a graphical user interface box, located in the lower-right side of the screen. This panel stays active as long as at least one unit is selected.

Support options, and reinforcements, can be utilized by clicking on the relevant icons in the upper-left and upper-right portions of the screen, respectively.

Do you know if we can pan the camera?

Asidhu: Do you know if we can pan the camera?
When you mention 'pan', I am interpreting that as the same as strafing left-right, and moving forward and backward; is that accurate?

In order to better illustrate the range of movement that is possible with the mouse, alone, I have uploaded the following screen captures:

(Forward-Backward Movement 01)
(Forward-Backward Movement 02)

(Strafing 01)
