The game tries to save games to %USERPROFILE%\Documents\World in Conflict\ , but fails for me, my guess being as that's on a CIFS share on my NAS. Is there a way to override or softlink or something to make it write locally?

Okay, tried installing via GOG Galaxy (I'd previously been using the .exe s). Fails with error E4, is there any more info about hat it might be trying to write to.

I'm having the same issue. Currently trying to install it on a windows 11 64 bit, could that be the issue? I'm getting the same E4 error code as well. Followed all the troubleshooting steps and still getting it?
