I have Mac OS X and I would run this game with Wine.
Has anyone tried that?

Hi, is there also a Linux port planned? I will probably buy the game and try to run it through Wine (and add my experience on winehq), but of course I'd love to see a native Linux version :)

Ok, so I've tried to install the game (64 bit version) with the development branch of Wine (currently 2.11) on Linux but I had no luck.
The game installs just fine as any other game using the GOG installer, and it uninstalls well, but the 64 bit exe from the terminal gives me this error:

[I] err:process:create_process 64-bit application L"C:\\GOG Games\\Wonder Boy The Dragons Trap\\exe64\\wb.exe" not supported in 32-bit prefix
wine: Bad EXE format for C:\GOG Games\Wonder Boy The Dragons Trap\exe64\wb.exe. [/I]

whereas the 32 bit one seems unable to find the bin_pc folder (it's there in the game's folder) if launched from a terminal, while if launched graphically (either by the menu entry or by double clicking on the exe.'s icon) gives the error in the attached picture. Wine is still incompatible with DirectX 11 as far as I know, so no luck.

It's better to wait for a native version for our operating systems since they are planned.
