It seems I have come across a Glitch in the game.

When Acheiving the fish-form I did some more exploring in the Dessert zone (to the right) with the lavapools.

I was able to find the transform stone and change back to the mouse-form and left for some more exploring and item collection.

But I seem to have been stuck. I can't go back to the transform stone since water and a bar is blocking my way, and I can't be transformed back to fish-form from the the acid-dragons lair. Which results in I can't progress in the game from this point on.
Could you please look into this, and maybe fix it by eventually removing the water and lower the bar so other transformations can get back to the stone.

I really like your game and think it's a shame, if it would happen to other than me.

On the way to the beach, there is a block that you can break with the Thunder Bracelet. In that box is something that will reveal a hidden door, which will allow you to change back to the fish form.

(If you do not have the Thunder Bracelet, and you are playing a recent enough version, you would have been put back into the fish form on reloading; if playing an older version, try updating, loading your save, then quitting and reloading.)

Because I felt like it, I decided to test this with the help of passwords. On a recent enough version, if:

* You have the piranha form available, but not any forms past that,
* Your current form is that of a lizard or mouse, and
* You do not have the Thunder Ring

Then:

* When you reload your game, you will be in the piranha form.

Note that, if a password puts you into this situation (which I believe can only happen if the password was from an older version of the remake or was generated outside the game), you will need to quit and reload to change back into the piranha form. Also, other situations that can't arise through normal play (like if you have access to more forms, or if you are somehow in the lion (impossible through normal play) or hawk (possible with the help of a glitch I haven't been able to reproduce, but actually not a softlock situation)) are not checked, so you could still make a password that makes progress impossible.

(It's interesting having access to passwords from the original version of the game.)
