Hello Hobs,

Sorry for that. The current build doesn't support DirectInput controller remapping but I am working on it right (it should be up during the week-end). In the meanwhile you may use a controller remapper software such as InputMapper to emulate an XInput controller.

I will post here when the patch is pushed.

Merci Omar!

Hello,

I have now pushed 1.02.14 which should support legacy gamepad remapping now.

Hope it works!
Omar

Somewhat related to this topic, so I'll post my issue here. I have a PS4 controller that I use to play a lot of my PC games along with InputMapper. While this works in around 90% of the games I play, Wonder Boy will not recognize any input from the controller whatsoever. Any help in remedying this issue would be greatly appreciated.

UPDATE: Please disregard this post, as I have found the solution after a bit more research. I found out that the way that Windows was ordering the controllers on my system was making it to where the XInput emulation couldn't be found by the game. After deleting these redudndant controller setups from my system, I was able to finally get the game to see the one I wanted to use.

The game is reading input from only 1 controller because in my experience software creating virtual controllers makes it that reading from mutliple controllers can be problematic.
Normally in the OPTIONS> CONTROLS>GAMEPAD menu you should be able to select which controller to use.
