thedutchghost: I rather enjoyed this game, and story wise I find it more appealing that Wolfenstein TNO which is a bit to grimdark and depressing to my tastes. I much rather prefer the Indiana Jones like atmosphere of Wolf 2009.
Of course it has its flaws and console limitations. I really don't like the regenerative health system (to a degree, I don't mind that the player recovers some health if seriously injured) and would much rather have the traditional health items and armor items.
I also wish levels were much bigger, some places like the airfield and the castle reserve themselves so much for this.
The hub maps sadly became rather tiresome after a while.
But in general I had a lot of fun with this game and I love the whole Nazi superscience meets the paranormal theme.
Agreed. I liked it and am a big fan of the Doom 3 Engine, but you're right - the levels could have done with being bigger. I also dislike regenerative health; I feel it takes the skill away from the game.
