I installed the 1.42 patch Finally got it working. I had to backup the files they tell you to in a folder named Bkup. If I tried to just extract them and overwrite it wouldn't work right. I do have it going and it looks great. My next question is the Venom mod 6.0 I found the Nvidia only one. Is there a good guide on how to instasll it?
Is the 1.42 patch included in the mod?
What does it change if anything?

If you downloaded it from here then it should've had a readme file included with it.

As to whether the mod and patch are combined - based on the comments there on ModDB, it seems unlikely.
