I just bought this great game for nostalgic reasons but for my surprise it wont even start on my windows 10 laptop...anyone had a similar problem? Whenever I click on PLAY it just opens a quick small window and nothing happens afterwards

are you using intel or AMD?

I have a A12 (7th gen AMD).

Intel often hardcodes graphics settings in the BIOS, which is why i never buy Intel laptops.

It is however a little laggy on my laptop, the game doesn't always recognize mouse clicks right away.

I eventually solved the problem tweaking some of the resolution settings and other graphical option. Indeed the game won't run with Intel GMA. But forcing it to use Nvidea and changing some settings in the Nvidia options and ingame (after it did launch) worked!

Will make a good reference for the next guy :)

yeah yeah. I will try to find the mail that I send to GOG with what I did. Pity when they reply you, they don't include the mail history.

I remember that I forced the game to use Nvidia graphics, changed the companitibily mode to win7 i think, or winxp will check. and set run with admin rights.

Then ingame I MUST use 800x600 or the game will crash. will update later
