I really do mean Aliens of Gold. The sequel, Planet Strike kind of lose some of it but that's a story for another thread.

I just wanted to know the opinion of people over here on the topic.

So, yeah, the reason why I prefer Blake Stone is simple. The levels are more interesting to explore. The visual design of the game combined with the ability to revisit levels for supplies and finding all the secrets, switches that open areas in previous levels (more secrets) make this game a hell of a lot more enjoyable to play nowadays. A shame that it was released so close to Doom, this game didn't deserve to be almost forgotten.

Let's make clear that I don't want to just throw shade at Wolfenstein. It's just that the levels and color palette are so dull in comparison it's almost painful to play. But, there is one thing Wolfenstein did a hell of a lot better thought. I don't know if it's the way they animated the sprites, the sounds or just the whole setting. But, gunning down a pack nazis feels extremely satisfying in Wolfenstein. More so than doing something similar in Blake Stone.

But, if I had to pick only one of them to play for the rest of my life, it would be Blake Stone.
