I thought "why not asking about some feedback?" and here I am :)

Already read something on the web, surfed on steam reviews and the likes, but I'd like to know something more from the good GOG community! :)

Is the game being updated on par? The changelog seems on par with the steam release, which is good (I don't mind some kind of delay, as for every game upadted here, at least if it's matter of DAYS).

What about the price? Is it worth at the game's very state?

What about spells and necromancy? I saw some gamplay about fire, bolts and the likes, but nothing like the good and old diablo 2 necromancer spells similarity :( .

Are there shapeshifting skills/ability/spells? It's a shame how this is so rare to find in games which aren't neverwinter or D&D based.

I have been leveling to around Lvl 20 today and a I am now able to transform into a magic pool of blood that sucks the lifeforce out of enemies while being able to move around (short duration, awesome effect)

Does that answer your question? If not: There are many different kinds of skills in Wolcen, like Elemental, Physical (called brutal), ranged and magic (called umbra). One Kind is called Necromancy so I would guess there will be the classic necromancer and then some more due to shapeshifting.

There also seems to be a core part of the game called apocalyptic form. That gives even more hope to seeing some awesome shapechanging effects and the like.

As to Patch intervals i can´t say much but that they happen. Regularly. Don´t know if they are keeping the schedule though.

And lastly: The game is Alpha 0.3.3. so there are many many things missing, amiss, clunky or bugged. But there are also many beautiful things to see and fancy ideas to test. Buy it if you are curious it should be worth 15 €. I was able to put quite some hours in, just playing around with skills and items ^.^

If you are unsure, maybe wait until Q2 2017, there should be quite some progress been done until then.

Hope that helps in your decision making ^.^

You reassumed everything I could hope to hear :P , I really hope they will plish the shapeshifting aspect for the game.
Yes, since it's still in alpha state I'm a bit perplexed about the purchase, but hearing all these things from you is giving me hope :). I'll probably wait a bit in order to judge better the game, but it looks promising.
