It sadly also resets your entire configuration, including your changed key-mappings, so better make a backup.
If you are using DXWnd, you may need to adjust your Input-Section to set Cursor Clipper to ON and in Cursor handling you may need to activate Keep cursor within window to keep the mouse-cursor from leaving the window now.
