Cannot find the Scroll of Trickery. Do have the ascension quest, have found the library and accessed the room above the library (Kreug's Study). Any hints on where to look or is this a known bug with a potential work around.

Should note thatI suffered from the stuck in underwater tunnel bug and could not get to the statue there but don't see why that would matter here (unless I needed idols in all the alcoves.

The Scroll spawns at the middle of the table in the same elevated/secret room with the Serpent Wand. You must have the quest before it will show up. If you came in earlier, it makes no difference, one must pick up the quest and return. If you want more than one bard, you must get one scroll, turn it in, then get the quest for the next bard aspirant. Tunnel bug has nothing to do with it, fortunately. Best of luck.
