So, http://www.gog.com/forum/wizardry_series/wizardry_7_dos_save_editor talks about save editors for Wiz 7, but what about 8?

I've found two. One works quite well, allows you to edit stats and skills, levels, names etc. But the other also appears to be able to edit inventories. However, I can't get it working under XP (even if I download the relevant OCX file it needs).

Has anyone else encountered any editors? Any tips on getting them to work?

Edit: Omg seriously i don't know why I can't post links here. Maybe I have too few posts or what...? Anyway I'll try to send them to you via PM.
Edit2: Pffff, now it works. Amazing.

Yea, I've got two of them.
First one is from polish Wiz8 site (probably taken from another site anyway) so I'm not gonna reupload it. Here's the link: http://reddig.republika.pl/zip/editor.zip
Don't worry it's not infected :P
As far as I remember it's pretty decent editor (you can edit EXP, inventory, race, class and skills etc) but interface is somewhat... problematic. I mean there's a looooong list of items/skills that you can't filter so you just have to scroll through them all to find that one you want.

And here comes the second one. To be honest i have no idea where I've downloaded it so I'll reupload it here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/jiyx0h
I remember that you can't directly edit EXP here but it has much better interface when it comes to changing perks/skills/items (everythins is categorized etc.).
You can always use both as I did :)
And they both work with Windows7 of course.

That first one you posted has issues with my party - it doesn't find the sixth member of my party (shows up two RPCs+five of the party proper). And I can't get the second one to work on here (with WinXP), no matter what I do.

EDIT: Strangely enough, that version of the second one you've posted does work on here. Weird.
