I recently installed Wizardry 7 along side the "Wizardry 7 Automap Mod" and for some reason it refuses to save my games only popping up with "Disk error". Wizardry 7 without the mod works and saves fine but when I add the mod it gives me that error.

While I would like to have the automap feature, the only thing I want is the fix for the pc speaker popping if anyone still has that.

Please, state how you installed the mod. The automap mod should come as a zip file with prepackaged DOSBox: which folder you extracted the package into? I suspect a write permission's issue.

Just open the configuration menu (inside game) and delete the "path" to save games. Saved games will be stored in game main folder.
