So... this is kind of annoying. I had just gotten to the Temple of Ramm and decided to take a drink from one of the fountains there, which poisoned me, so I reloaded an old save from a few seconds ago since I didn't have anything to cure myself with. But when I reloaded and explored the place some more I noticed one of my character's health decreasing, as if he were poisoned, but his status said "ok". I guessed it was just a simple bug or something, but since I didn't have anything to cure poison he eventually died and I had to use a potion of resurrection to bring him back, except when I moved a few spaces he died again, as if poisoned. So I went back to Queequeg and bought some potions of cure poison and used them on the character who I assumed the game thought was poisoned, figuring that would solve the problem... But it didn't, his health keeps going down despite how many potions I give him or how many times I resurrect him.

So I'm out of ideas now... Anyone know what the problem is? Is it like a bug or something? It crossed my mind that it could be a different status condition that can't be cured by dying or poison cures, but again, his status says he's okay...

Did you check the equipped items on that character? If I remember correctly, some cursed items can sap away the health when equipped/worn. While unequipping the cursed items in Wizardry 6 is supposed to require Remove Curse spell, they can be (or so I have heard) unequipped normally due to a bug. Cursed items with potentially harmful effects are a regular feature of Wizardry series and spells for identifying items are there for a reason.
I'm playing Wizardry 6 right now too. (First time for me, I'm only just finishing up the Amazulu Pyramid right now). Anyway, I know for a fact that the "Goat Mask" has the exact effects you are describing. Unequipping it worked for me (no Remove Curse spell needed).

Yes you're right, there are 2 "cursed" items you can equuip around Temple of Ramm area - GOAT MASK and the STAFF of RAMM...
