My game won't launch, ever after messing with compatibility and graphic mode settings. I've already send a message to support, but maybe you guys can help. Specs are:

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
CPU: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 955 Processor
GPU: Radeon HD 6850.
RAM: 16GB

EDIT: Fixed it! I uninstalled it and reinstalled it to C:\Wiz8. I remembered doing this for the original version as well.

Hey this fixed my problem too! I also had put in a ticket to support and they got back to me with some very general troubleshooting ideas, but this fixed it right up.

Yeah, my understanding is that in later Windows you want to install outside of Program Files.

Well in my case I had Wiz8 installed in d:\Wizardry 8, which is where the installer decided to put it by default.

You can also install it inside the program files folder but then you have to start the game with administrator rights every time manually or give the program permanent administrator rights by

1. rightclicking on the shortcut and selceting "run as administrator"

or

2. rightklicking on the shortcut, select properties, then the compatibility tab and checking the "run program as administrator" box.

Same for me cant lounch the game im quite pissed that i have payed 9.99$ for it and i cant get it to run properly on my system :(

I tried everything i cound think of even running it from differend installations on my computer (Admin mode on all time)
