Anyone else experiencing this? You click on something and there is noticeable lag. Really screws you when disarming traps

Yes I notice it a lot but I am not sure why. I may have to play the dos version at this rate.

I had this when it was new and had the same issue. At the time I thought it was due to a slow computer, but now I'm sure it is just a sloppy port. Go DOS as the Windows version will never improve.

As Negatus said use the W7 Dos version, it is superior to hastily composed and broken Gold version.
The only merit (questionable) of Gold version is the auto-map, which will soon cease to be and after that the Gold version will become completely redundant.
