So, in Wizardry Gaiden 4, there is a dungeon that shares the same layout of the dungeon from the original Wizardry, or at least, it does for the first 4 floors.
However, if you go to where the stairs down to the 5th floor would be, you will find that your party just walked into solid rock and has been wiped out. Is this fair?
(I note that the party is at least Dead rather than Lost, so it's possible that recovery may be possible, but I still don't think this is fair on the part of the game designers.)
To be honest, this is the sort of thing I would expect to see in Wizardry 4, not in Wizardry Gaiden 4.
By the way, I am finding combat to be too easy at this point; the enemy difficulty has not been increasing for too long. The problem is that there are 3 towers, all of which start with weak enemies and build up, so when you clear one tower, you are too strong for most of the other 2. This Wizardry 1 dungeon shares the same issue (though I note that the enemies that appear here are different).
Also, I can't enter the Murphy's Ghost room because the door is locked.
