Here's a new one: Because I skipped the mine tunnels, I skipped getting the hose (and forgot about it when going back for the Cap of Wiles), and ended up getting the Bellows first.

Also, of note, on this playthrough I got a second VapoRizer (useless since I have only 1 Gadgeteer) and a second Helm of Brilliance (which is replacing my Cap of Wiles until I'm ready to equip the Philosopher's Shield I found).

At least I have the NegatAir and Renaissance Lute (since I got them before Rapax territory), and my Bishop has a Robe of Rejuvenation.

By the way, I mentioned that I am not going to use Infinity Helms this playthrough. I have, however, decided that it's legal to buy them (and then sell them to Anton for a 14999g profit with high Communication).

I think it's in general possible and benefitial (though not easy) to get into the Rapax Castle earlier than usual. Once you are Templars, this area is of course quite simple, and with some nice equipment from Ferro Al-Sedexus should be beatable as well. The only issue is to actually get there. The Rift has some mean encounters for mid-level party, and even if you are able to avoid encounters in the courtyard (you might manage to run through in fake combat mode) the Rapax Castle Main Level is really tough. You usually have to fight at least 1-2 big groups of Rapax before you get to the Templar area, which can be a challenge. But it might be worth it.

What's quite funny: I once did this before exploring the Mt. Wilderness. When I finally returned there, now with the Rapax being friendy, Anselm and his guys are not in a fight anymore. It's more like an afternoon coffee party with unlikely guests...
