Day 6
Umpani

We ran around the tunnels firing rockets at dummies and unlocked the house before heading north towards rapax lands in order to deliver a girls ring... sister says hi!

I'm too small to go on so we have started back towards Arnika again

I'm de-prioritizing Strength for casters, because the Bard and Gadgeteer have already fulfilled that role(carrying things and doing physical damage.) I've already focused on Speed, and unlocked Snakespeed, for all my casters. The priority now, is Senses for more Initiative, and Piety for more SPs. They will be powerhouses once I unlock Powercast.
I'm using the best weapon options available for physical damage. The Bard and Gadgeteer get Swords and Shields(with Tripleshot Crossbows for range), the Priest gets Mace and Flail and Shield(with Sling for range), the Alchemist gets the Staff of Doom(eventually), and Sling(for now), and the Psionic and Mage get Slings permanently, as they are the weakest, and they will get Eagle Eye with their high Senses eventually. Pretty much as you described with your party.
thats cool although, Gadgeteer \ Ranger are really the only one that want Senses for Eagle Eye but if every other stat is 100 then why not ;)

Don't forget that Senses affects initiative.

When I use a caster, if I am not going for Power Strike, I boost SEN once INT has maxed out (or if I'm not going Power Cast for whatever reason (like if I'm planning to replace the character)).
Day 7
Arnika - Marten's Bluff

We grabbed a x-ray chip from the spaceport to make another Gad-it then handed over two letters to the Mook and nicked their marble... they didn't appear to mind because we let them keep our old one

Saxx didn't want to go to Marten's Bluff so we said goodbye and told the head bug our good news

Tip: the best way to deal with sprites is to spit at them

they have low hit points, the spit auto hits them & best of all doesn't count as a spell so their eye for eye will not send it back at you

Of course, this does require getting into Thrown range. Also, I believe the "spell" it casts, "Special Attack Cone", is in the Water realm. (Anyone know how this attack computes its damage? Cosmic Forge doesn't list a damage range for it.)

Wondering if Turn Undead will bypass Eye for an Eye as well. Then again, even if that spell is reflected, it won't matter, since nobody in the party is a valid target, anyway. (Holy Water (which, notably, isn't affected by Soul Shield) and Banish are similarly nice against undead that use Eye for an Eye; while the spell will get reflected back at the party, the party won't be affected, and it's unlikely that the player will have vulnerable allies (unless Banish is cast after Summon Elemental, but elementals have lots of HP, so it's not a problem).)
we could test if Banish gets bounced back onto elementals but I don't think turn undead counts as a spell

dragon spit has a level part to its damage so does get stronger as you level up... I assume they just changed spell level for character level in the mechanics

Day 8
Marten's Bluff -South East Wilds & Swamp

We grabbed Saxx and went on a wild Frog hunt around the swamps... almost got my first party wipe from a hatch of birds but we managed to run into a hut and patch ourselves back together

We then trekked around the wilds and collected another 2 Gad-it parts so Threnn can also cast heal all now ;)

I believe that the Dracon's breath "spell" caps out after a certain point. I've never used it before, but I hear that it weakens over time, compared to the higher level monsters later on.
You're only level 12-13, how did you manage to beat the Southeast Temple battle? Or did you run in and grab the gadgets, then leave?
my Dragon spit does about 15 points of damage against things that don't have water resist but I see numbers as high as 25... current level is 12-13 for those numbers. I would not expect much against fish but fire ants and even rapax are good targets... the only real issue is the zero training that stops it being OP

I just grab the stone and run... will come back about 17-18 in order to grab Fang and the heart... will prob go get the robot and do the tunnels next then think about a quick visit to the island

I've mentioned before that the stone is actually obtainable without triggering the fight; in fact, it's actually technically outside the temple, in the inside of that pillar that's in front of the temple.
Day 9
Tunnels - Bayjin - Umpani

We dropped Saxx then repaired the robot and killed him... we followed the map to get out then parked Vi & went to the island to grab our Umpani fighter

We then trekked back to drop him off

You killed RFS-81?
Yes I needed to make room for Tantris and didn't want to be tempted to come back
