I screwed up my latest game. I had beed doing both the Umpani and T'rang quests I paide of Heli's blackmail request and I got the Chaos Molari from the Mook when I got to Z'ant He knew of my deception and all the T'rang were pissed at me. I was hoping to keep doing both quest lines as I have done in other games what did I do wrong?

Very likely, you did nothing wrong and the RNG just decided that the T'Rang don't like you anymore. You can reduce the chance by paying off He'li as soon as possible, but I don't think you can eliminate it entirely.

If you have a save from when the T'Rang are not hostile, you can avoid this by using a key item (one the game won't let you sell or discard, like the Chaos Moliri) to initiate the conversation; this prevents the person you are talking to from turning hostile in that conversation.

(Also, don't do the final quest of either faction, as that *will* turn the other one hostile.)

On a side note you can put those into chests.

On a further side note, if you put them into chests, events triggered by having them will be undone.

For example, if you go to the Rapax Away Camp and put 2 of the 3 artifacts in a chest there, when you return to the camp (perhaps even if you save and reload; I didn't check, and you should use a different slot if you do), it will be gone and you will just be in the Wilderness Clearing. In particular, this means you no longer have access to the chests and are therefore unable to get the artifacts. Since you need all 3 artifacts to beat the game, doing this will make the game unwinnable.

Putting 2 of the artifacts into a chest in the Rapax Away Camp will make the game unwinnable, so don't do that (or if you just feel like playing around with this, *don't* save over your main file).
