GhostShiv: None know anything about it at all? It's a old game and been years. It makes me feel alone lol
I think the game might not be that popular.
I do remember playing this game, and here are some of the things I do remember:
* The training dungeon B1F, the very first area you're likely to explore, occasionally yields drops that sell for substantial amounts of money. Have a Mage or Bishop donate that money (to turn it into XP), and you can learn high level spells early; NAL Burst, in particular, it an encounter-ending spell for a while.
* Later on, to do decent damage, you absolutely must get a good weapon, and that good weapon will most likely be a katana of some sort. This makes Samurai really good, especially with that attack that hits a row.
* I remember combat being extremely deadly later on. Basically, you had to have your Bishop use that shield skill every single round (so no chance to actually use magic), and skills that require a charge-up turn (like the Fighter and Mage skills) aren't useful because the second round is too late. (With that said, I note that the Mage's skill increases the power of Cleric spells, including healing (not that it matters with there being a party-wide full heal spell) and instant death (making the spells actually work well, if you can survive that long).
* Many of these class-specifc skills would appare in other Japanese DRPGs; you see many of them in Stranger of Sword City, for example.
