Hey, according to some FAQs each of my dudes should retain one super weapon they finish equipped with. Well, I equip all my guys with their respective WMDs (the Muramasa Blade, the Avenger, the Maenad Lance, the lot) - but those weapons don't transfer to W7.

Any ideas? Thanks.

You are only guaranteed one artefact to transfer per characer; sometime you get lucky and transfer two.
To make sure you transfer the super weapons you need to equip them and don't have any other items equipped.
There are some items that transfer automatically, but I don't recall which ones at the moment.

One more thing, is it possible to turn the sound off?
In the configuration menu, there's only Adlib, Covox, Sound Blaster and PC Speaker but no "None" option like with the music. I assume the game runs faster with sounds off (turning the volume to 0 doesn't help).

Not sure about this. I played with music off and sounds on, but I don't recall if it was possible to turn off sound entirely.
But if you want the game to run faster it's generally easier to just increase the CPU cycles (assuming you play the superior DOS version of Wiz 7).
