I wanted to start this thread earlier, but now after solid playtime and experience it will be better.
The game acts really strange in combat.
1. My characters sometimes attack enemy and after they hit (or miss/whatever) the game says in combat log that he/she continues attacking, but in fact he/she doesn't.
2. When changing target (automatically or manually), characters keep attacking an old target till end of the round. Usually this happens when the target changes during combat round, when my group cannot see certain target and switch to the closest one, but still trying to hit abandoned target.
3. Today I attacked big group of Rapax soldiers (~40) and after 30 minutes when I was close to the end of batttle, I realised that there are 5 Rapax soldiers around me, but the game "saw" only 4 of them, while they all were clearly visible and close to my position. Attacking the 5th "missing" soldier caused game crash. I think you can imagine how angry I was after that long and boring fight I lost due to this. What's more, this bug happens quite often, but sometimes the game recognize the enemy in few combat rounds.
I have been playing W8 many times since 2001 release, also in different versions and languages (EN and czech), but none of problems stated above appeared.
What are your experiences with GoG W8 version?
