Really dumb question, but I am trying to play wizardry gold on win 8.1, and I cant get past the opening intro screen / credits. F4does let me toggle the map, but no other key lets me advance.

I know i must be missing something obvious, but did anyone else have this issue?

You should be able to skip the intro video with Esc; the main menu will then appear after the title screen text has finished appearing.

Arkose: You should be able to skip the intro video with Esc; the main menu will then appear after the title screen text has finished appearing.
If I remember right, if you don't press any key within the first few seconds of the opening, it gets stuck on the title screen until the music ends, long after the credits are done. It used to annoy me, too.
